“Thanda Matlab Coca-Cola.” It is the punch-line of a major cold-drink company which uses this punch-line to sell its product. But in the real sense is it a truth? No, I don’t think it is.Why? I will tell you the reason of my views.
These cold-drinks or soft-drinks companies use hazardous chemicals in these drinks to increase the flavor and for many other reason, which is harmful for the entire body of the human, and not only human even the animals cannot drink these products because they are so much harmful that they will also duffer from its impact on their body and other activities of the body.
The harms of these cold-drinks will might be known to some of the persons and some might be un-aware of their ill effects. Let me tell you all some dangerous facts related to cold-rinks or soft-drinks.
Have a look at the wrapper on a Coca-Cola 1.5 litre bottle and in the ingredients label you will find phosphoric acid in it. Minute quantities of ethylene glycol are also used (which is acknowledged in the soft drink world for making it really chill).
This is popularly known as anti-freeze which prevents water from freezing at 0 degree Centigrade and instead drops it by 4-5 degree Centigrade with minute quantities. This chemical is a known slow poison in the caliber of arsenic. So, if you manage to drink about 4 litres of Coke within an hour or so, you can die.
Guess what’s the pH for soft drinks, e.g. Coke? pH 3.4! This acidity is strong enough to dissolve teeth and bones! Our human body stops building bones at the age of about 30.
Soft drinks do not have any nutrition value (in terms of vitamins & minerals).It is high in sugar content, carbonic acid, chemicals i.e.colourings etc.
Some like to take cold soft drinks after each meal. Guess what’s the impact? Our body needs an optimum temperature of 37 degrees Centigrade for digestive enzyme functioning. The temperature of cold soft drinks is very much below 37 degrees or even close to 0 degree Centigrade. This will dilute the enzymes & stress the digestive system. The food taken will not be digested.
In fact it will be fermented! The fermented food produces gases, decays and becomes toxin, gets absorbed by the intestine, circulates in the blood stream and is carried to the whole body. Hence toxin is cumulated in other parts of the body, developing into various diseases. Think before you drink Coke/Pepsi (or any soft drink) again. Have you ever thought what you drink when you drink an aerated drink like these cold-drinks? You gulp down carbon dioxide, when nobody in the world would advise you to drink CO2 (i.e.Carbon-di-oxide).
Few months back, there was a competition at Delhi University – Who could drink the most Coke?” The winner drank 8 bottles and fainted on the spot-too much CO2 in the blood. Thereafter, the principal banned all soft drinks from the college canteen! While this might have been an extreme measure, the results do provide some food for thought.
Did you know that soft drinks use chemicals in them that cause immense harm to you? Someone put a broken tooth in a bottle of Pepsi and in 10 days it DISSOLVED! Can you believe it? Teeth and bones are the only human parts hat stay intact for years after death. Imagine what the drink must be doing to your soft intestines and stomach lining!
What the psychology of the Indian man is that people hesitate to pay Rs. 7-8/- for a tender coconut but prefer to pay Rs. 12/- and drink these dreadful products.
The Yoga Guru Baba Ramdeo is continuously saying that these cold-drinks are hazardous for our health but who listens? We just have to follow what is called as style. What a foolish attitude towards such a precious life? How can people be some care-less about their own life?
Many surveys have continuously showed that these cold-drinks are harmful to our body but we don’t read them carefully but rather say that these are fool persons who do these sorts of things to gain publicity but in real sense the fools are those who continue to drink these deadly cold-drinks after reading such articles also.
I request all the people to stop playing with their precious life and stop taking these cold-drinks also, because in real sense “Thanda Matlab Toilet Cleaner” as these cold-drinks are best-suitable to clean toilets so that the germs residing in toilets gets completely cleaned off. If you don’t understand even after reading this article then do whatever you want to do. After all it’s your life only. But I have decided not to take these cold-drinks ever, a long back only and am still continuing with that decision in my life.
